PRIVACY POLICY (incorporated into Terms of Use)
1. Disclaimer & Privacy Policy.
The information we collect through our Site helps us provide you with information specific to your needs and interests. This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) is incorporated into the Terms of Use (“TOU”), above, and covers your use of the Valentina Kova, Inc. website (the “Site”). In this Privacy Policy, all definitions are identical to those above. By visiting or using the Site, you agree that you understand and accept the practices described in this Privacy Policy, as you accept all TOU.
2. How Does  Valentina Kova, Inc. Gather and Use Information?
(i) Cookies. Cookies are pieces of data assigned by a web server that uniquely identify the browser on your PC. Websites typically use temporary cookies called “session” cookies to ensure that you are recognized when you move from page to page within one site and that any information you have entered is remembered. For example, if an e-commerce site did not use session cookies then items placed in a shopping basket would disappear by the time you reach the checkout. Websites also use cookies called “persistent” cookies to enable a website to remember you on subsequent visits, speeding up or enhancing your experience of services or functions offered. Valentina Kova, Inc. attempts to install both persistent and session cookies when a user arrives at our Site. Cookies enable our systems to gather information about your navigational patterns through the site. Viewers have the option to accept or disable cookies at any time through their browsers. (ii) Server Statistics. We collect general statistics to track user trends on our Site. These statistics include hits to our server, the types of browsers used to access our Site, page views, and navigational patterns. The information that is collected in this manner does NOT provide us with any personally identifiable information about our users. It helps us track “where” our users are coming from. This allows us to pinpoint high traffic areas and determine the most effective ways to communicate with our users. In order to prevent the introduction of viruses and hackers into the Valentina Kova, Inc. site we may collect information, such as IP addresses, into a log file to be used to identify potential hackers of the Valentina Kova, Inc. site.
(iii) Personal Information You Provide Us. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” is any information that identifies you, would enable someone to contact you, or that describes your relationship with Valentina Kova, Inc. We collect and store Personal Information when you register to use our Site, ask a question, complete a form, conduct a transaction, or send us an email. While you are not required to submit any information to our Site, if you do not provide the requested information, you may not be able to access or use some of the features and functions of our Site and we may not be able to provide you with certain services. Valentina Kova, Inc. may use your Personal Information to complete transactions, respond to your requests, deliver the products and services you request, and notify you of promotions, updates, or special offers (which may be offered by Valentina Kova, Inc. or one of its Site Affiliates via email) that we think may interest you. If you are already receiving emails from the Site and no longer wish to receive such communications, simply make appropriate adjustments to your account.
3. What Security Procedures Does Valentina Kova, Inc. Use To Protect Personal Information?
We use physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards, as deemed appropriate by us, to assist us in preventing unauthorized access, maintaining data accuracy, and correctly using your Personal Information.
4. Will Valentina Kova, Inc. Disclose The Information It Collects To Outside Parties?
Valentina Kova, Inc. may share certain information with its subsidiaries and other affiliated companies, and with other selected vendors and business partners (collectively, “Site Affiliates”). This may include, but may not necessarily be limited to, companies that offer affinity, frequent-user, and reward programs, and companies that perform marketing services and other business operations for us (including providing goods and services to our users, as necessary to complete transactions you request). We may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third party vendors, but these statistics do not include Personal Information. We may disclose Personal Information we collect from you if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary (a) to obey the law or comply with legal process served on us or our affiliates; (b) to protect and defend our rights or property or the rights or property of other users of our Site; or (c) to act in an emergency to protect the personal safety of users of our Site or the public. On a limited basis, we may also disclose your Personal Information to certain Site Affiliates for their use in contacting you, when we reasonably believe their products or services are complementary to your interests or Valentina Kova, Inc. business.
5. Other companies or organizations may have links to their Sites on our Site.
We are not responsible for how the companies or organizations linked to on our Site collect, use, disclose, or secure the information that you provide to them, or which is available to them by virtue of your use of their sites. If you choose to access a third party site linked to our Site, you do so at your own risk and subject to any Terms of Use or privacy policy (if any) associated with such third-party sites.
6. Collection Of Information From Children Under Thirteen (13) Years of Age.
Valentina Kova, Inc. does not direct any of our content specifically to children. If we are informed by a source that appears to us, in our sole, unfettered discretion, to be a reliable indicator that a user is under thirteen (13) years of age, we will delete any Personal Information we have collected about that user as required by law.
7. Consent To Information Processing.
By providing any Personal Information to Valentina Kova, Inc., all users, including, without limitation, users in Canada and the member states of the European Union, fully understand and unambiguously consent to this Privacy Policy and to the transfer of such Personal Information across international borders in accordance with Valentina Kova’s, Inc. standard operations, including the collection, storage, and processing of such information in the United States of America or elsewhere, as Valentina Kova, Inc. may deem appropriate in its sole, unfettered discretion.
8. California Privacy Rights.
As provided by California Civil Code Section 1798.83, a California resident who has provided Personal Information to certain businesses with whom he/she has established a business relationship for personal, family, or household purposes (“California customer”) may be entitled to request information about whether the business has disclosed Personal Information to any third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. In general, if a qualifying business has made such a disclosure of Personal Information, upon receipt of a request by a California customer, that business is required to provide a list of all third parties to whom Personal Information was disclosed in the preceding calendar year, as well as a list of the categories of Personal Information that were disclosed. However, under the law, a business is not required to provide the above-described lists if the business adopts and discloses to the public (in its privacy policy) a policy of not disclosing customer’s Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes unless the customer first affirmatively agrees to the disclosure, as long as the business maintains and discloses this policy. Rather, the business may comply with the law by notifying the customer of his or her right to prevent disclosure of Personal Information and providing a cost free means to exercise that right. You are hereby notified of that right; to prevent disclosure of your Personal Information for use in direct marketing by a third party, do not opt in to such use when you provide Personal Information on our site, or, in the even you are “opted-in,” simply change your preferences in your account or e-mail your preference with respect to this issue to info@valentinakova.com. Please note that if you explicitly or implicitly opt in to receive communications from a third party, your information will be subject to the third party’s privacy policy. If you later decide that you do not want that third party to use your information, you will need to contact the third party directly, as we have no control over how third parties use information. 
California customers may request further information about our compliance with this law by emailing info@valentinakova.com. Please note that we are only required to respond to one request per customer each year, and we are not required to respond to requests made by means other than through this email address.
9. Modification And Notification Of Changes.
Valentina Kova, Inc. may at our sole, unfettered discretion (subject, of course, to applicable law) revise this Privacy Policy. Notice of all changes to the Privacy Policy will be provided as specified in Section 13 of the other Terms of Use, above (“Modification and Notification of Changes”).

Security Information and Tips
How We Protect Our Customers

    • Industry-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption is always used to protect your purchase information while in transit.
    • Currently, Valentina Kova, Inc. does not store any credit card information as all transaction occur through PayPal and Google Checkout. In the future, all stored credit card information will be encrypted in a secure, PCI-compliant environment.
    • The Valentina Kova, Inc. Site is periodically scanned and validated to meet security standards on application and network security.

Protecting Yourself

    • Do not share your user ID or password with any third party. 
    • Be sure to create a secure password—that is, a password that is at least 7 characters, includes a mix of letters, numbers, and special symbols; and does not contain easily identifiable or personal information, such as a dictionary word, family or pet’s name, or e-mail address.
    • If you use a public computer to access the Site, be aware that such computer may contain keylogger software designed to steal your password. If you do decide to use a public computer to access the Valentina Kova, Inc. website, be sure to log out of the Site before ending your session.
    • E-mails are generally insecure and easy to forge. Be aware that an email, which comes from a friend or a business partner, could be fraudulent and designed to trick you into providing personal information or installing dangerous software.

When you go to Login or Check Out pages on the Valentina Kova, Inc. website, you will notice the closed lock icon at the top or bottom of your browser or the HTTPS:// prefix in the URL. This means you have established a secure “SSL connection” and that all transmitted data will be encrypted, ensuring sensitive purchase information cannot be intercepted. If you are receiving SSL Certificate errors when accessing the Valentina Kova, Inc. website, that means that the domain name in the SSL certificate does not match the address that is in the address bar of the browser. SHIPPING & DELIVERY 
Sales Tax
The sales tax charged depends on where the order is shipped. You will be able to view the sales tax included in your order before you confirm your order.
Shipping Time
Orders selected for next-day shipping that are placed before 1pm ET will ship the same day. If you select next day on a Friday, please be advised that your package will not be delivered until Monday. Our goal is to process and ship your order within 2-5 business days of receipt. For items that are not yet in our inventory, please allow time specified on the item for the item to be processed and shipped. A UPS tracking number will be emailed to you when your order ships. This tracking number will allow you to check on the delivery status of your order.
Shipping Preferences
Your default shipping address can be modified from "My Account".
Shipping Rates
Valentina Kova, Inc. doesn’t ship outside of USA at the moment. 
The shipping cost is calculated based on your location by UPS standard rates. For the upgrade to Next Day Air, the cost will vary by the shipping zip code. Oversized or special delivery items may be subject to a Delivery Charge in addition to the above standard shipping rate.
These additional delivery charges and shipping upgrade charges may not be eligible for combined, reduced or free shipping offers.
Shipping Carrier
Valentina Kova, Inc. ships most orders via UPS. If you are shipping to a U.S. Post Office Box or military address, Valentina Kova, Inc. will ship your order via USPS Priority Mail.
Undelivered Packages
We are not able to reship packages that are returned to us by the carrier. All undelivered packages will be processed as a return. Please take this into consideration when selecting your shipping address for an order.
 
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We will gladly accept you return or exchange. In order to receive a refund the merchandise must be returned within 14 days of delivery, in the exact condition in which it was shipped.

  1. Email us at info@valentinakova.com to submit a return/exchange request. You will receive a reply within 2 business days.
  2. If approved, you will receive an email with Return/Exchange Authorization form. Print it and mail it to Valentina Kova, Inc 147 West 35th Street, Suite 702, NYC, NY 10019. Also the directions will be given you in Return/Exchange Authorization form. 
  3. You will receive an email from a Valentina Kova, Inc. customer care confirming that your return is received and your refund or exchange has been processed. Please allow 2 business days from the time we receive your return for the refund or exchange to be processed. For returns, please allow your financial institution up to 10 business days to post the refund to your account. 
  4. If the credit card used in connection with the purchase is expired or invalid, we will issue a check to the billing address on the credit card. If any promotional discount was applied at the time of purchase, you will be refunded for the actual amount paid at time of purchase. 

 
MANUFACTURING
Many of Valentina Kova, Inc. items are made in NYC. All of our products are made with the same exacting standards and aesthetics, and are of the same exceptional quality.
REPAIRS
Valentina Kova, Inc.  stands behind its merchandise with a One year warranty. We are more than happy to handle complimentary repairs for issues resulting from company acknowledged/approved manufacturing defects within this One year period. Repair inquiries should be directed to our Customer Care service. Typical turn-around time for repairs is 14 to 30 business days.
 
Please email us at info@valentinakova.com to request a repair service. Once your request is received, our in-house Customer Care person will be in contact with you within 3 business days with information on how to send your merchandise back to us for repair. 
Please note, it may be necessary to provide proof of purchase in order to confirm that your repair request is covered by our policy.
